TREATMENTS Medical
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
Photodynamic Therapy is a treatment for actinic keratosis (Precancers) that involves the application of amino levulinic acid to the skin topically. This acid then incubates for a period of 1-3 hours after which a blue light is applied to the skin to activate the acid. This procedure selectively destroys the precancerous cells in the skin and treats large areas of severely sun damaged skin.
TREATMENTS Cosmetic
Intense Pulse Light Therapy (IPL)
Intense Pulse Light is a light device that uses a broad spectrum of light energy to treat the redness of Rosacea, Lentigines(sun freckles), and Unwanted Hair. It is best to avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after IPL treatments for best results.
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is a procedure that treats the "spider veins " of the thighs and lower legs. It involves the injection of hypertonic salt solution into the unwanted veins on the thighs and legs to make them less prominent. Multiple veins may be treated in one session although several sessions may be necessary to achieve the best results.
Dysport
Dysport is a neuromodulating substance that is injected with tiny needles and is used to relax the muscles of facial expression in order to minimize the appearance of wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes. Our goal is to create a more rested and youthful look.
